We all would prefer to have no fillings, but in the event one is required we would like it to look a natural as possible, this can be achieved by placing a tooth-coloured filling.

Tooth-coloured fillings may be made of one of several materials depending on the situation. Commonly composite is used to produce lifelike restoration of teeth.  For situations involving replacement of a substantial amount of tooth structure, porcelain fillings or a crown may be required.  The choice of materials needs to be considered for each restoration and your dentist will be able to discuss with you the options available.
